Q2 2024 iOS Virtual Fitness Programs Surge in the US

In the realm of virtual fitness, the second quarter of 2024 has been bustling with user activity on iOS devices. Drawing insights from Sensor Tower, we observe the performance of the top five virtual fitness applications.

JustFit: Lazy Workout & Fit saw a fluctuating trend in downloads, starting at 1.3K, dipping to 378 in mid-May, and rebounding to 1.5K by the end of June. Weekly active users started at 8.7K, dipping slightly but then swelling to 11.3K. Revenue peaked at $2.5K in the final week of June.

Strava: Run, Bike, Hike maintained a steady pace with downloads beginning at 655 and peaking at 650 in mid-June. Weekly active users hovered around 17K, with minor fluctuations. Revenue trends showed an initial $1.1K, a mid-quarter spike to $1.7K, and then finishing the quarter at $1K.

Seven: 7 Minute Workout experienced a dramatic shift with downloads starting at a modest 49 and then skyrocketing to 6.9K in the first week of June. Weekly active users mirrored this jump from 250 to 8.8K. The revenue followed suit, spiking to $5K in the second week of June.

Workout Planner Muscle Booster showed a varied download pattern, starting at 301, dropping to 27 in late May, and ending at 30. Weekly active users started at 933, dropped to 237, and closed the quarter at 346. Revenue saw a rise to $1.3K in late April but settled at $492 by the quarter's end.

Zwift: Ride and Run had minimal downloads throughout the quarter, beginning and ending with single-digit numbers. Active users were nonexistent at the start and end of the quarter, with a small peak of 55 in early June. Revenue, however, rose to $1.1K by late June.
